How my dears,
so the summer is almost here. Are you ready for it? :-) To tell you the truth, I am not - mentally, physically.... This year I mean, the year with a worldwide pandemic left scars on many of us.
Our girls spent almost one and half a year at home, they quit their hobbies, they lost all their previous life, friends, social interaction... and their online education? This was a parody of school, really. :-) And we, as parents, overwhelmed by duties, work, fear, and uncertainty - well we honestly don't deserve a good evaluation... They have changed, our family changed. We lost our honey princess, which really broke me and my younger one too. So as we were trying to heal it, we brought to our family 5 months old puppy with no inkling of boundaries. And this was really the challenge. But we needed her and we are happy, that she became a part of our family.
So this year, it is not important, if we have "beach bodies" or style. :-) This year, much more than ever before, if we will spend the summer and holiday like a family in peace and with a good spirit, this would be a miracle for me.
And here is the answer, why I am so quiet all the time... But I still love my colorful world and love to be locked there. And I missed you.... ♥ What was the last project you crocheted, tell me :-)? My last project was an angel. A little small fragile angel. The pattern is written already, hidden in my drawer, waiting to be tested and published.
And what about you? Did your family change through the pandemic also or did you go through it easily?

Today, it was that day.
Today, I was a little bit nostalgic.
Today, I opened my blog after so long time and I read some of my old posts.
Today, I needed to write some greeting to you.
Today, I decided that I will change it. Because I don't want to wait for tomorrow :-)
So, I haven't any big philosophical questions of the world to solve, I just would like to thank you for your constant support even I am not so active in social media as I used to be.

Yes, the new year already started and I am really full of question, what this one will be? I wish you, your 2020 will be extraordinary, unique, and successful. The year, you will close by good feelings about yourself.

I personally choose the word - hope. Because I really hope that this one will be better. I am still not over of passing away of my honey princess, feeling still so sad inside. Even I know that it is a life circle and understand to all "reasonable" sentences. My heart doesn't hear it. I really would wish my life will calm, and faith will be returned. I lost it somewhere, and my soul really needs it back.
Anyway, there is also one interesting thing. Do you remember my Instagram TOP 9, I shared with you on my social some days ago?
You commented it a lot - thank you for your love again ♥. There was one comment that made me think about it. And it was: "Where did you get your rainbow yarn?". Thank you for your question! And I realized that my rainbow colors disappeared somewhere when I take a closer look at the picture after that. And I thought about why it happened? Maybe it was because I was thinking about my new creations more than before, not listening to my heart, but the brain more. It was essential for me, to my patterns will be comfortable for others, more like otherwise taste, with less demand of colors and additional embellishment. And maybe it caused that I have lost somewhere. I thought about new creations so much, and the result was that I didn't finish either creation and pattern, also - the vicious circle.
I still love my rainbow world, and I have to learn to find the lightness of my creation without thinking about it so much. I need to find freedom in my crocheting again. So this one is one of my wishes for this year.
So my dears, thank you for reading, for all your love and support in last year. Let's go to 2020 together with a hook or needles in your hands and also in mine.♥

So the advent time is here. It should be a time of clam down, contemplation, and preparing for Christmas. Well, to be honest, it didn't look like and calm advent time in our home. I am so busy with my job, or let's better say jobs, but you know. The work helps me right now because when I am working, I can not be so sad and paralyzed because of my honey girl. I still miss her so much, with every piece of my soul. Sooooo my hook is on fire, but I am not working on nothing new - I am finally finishing my WIP's projects, yes! Because I have so many projects in the drawer. The battle with procrastination! I will not let it to January, I have already started yet. So, the first of my WIP's is something quick and easy for our kitchen table.
Yes, I am talking about these placemats. These could be a great and quick present for your beloved ones or for yourself. Just before Christmas, I added a holly flower brooch. It is a brooch, so I will easily remove it after Christmas, and I will get a casual and pure design for our kitchen table.

how are you?
I would like to share with you my newest project. A week ago I started my personal challenge. I would like to crochet granny square dress - it will be the Birthday present for myself from me :-)
I never made crochet dress in adult size and I never made a dress for myself also - it will be my premiere. Sooo, today it is a day 7 of my challenge, so I decided to share my progress on my blog also of course :-)
I was thinking about making this dress for years and I also was searching for the right material for years. I thought, that I will use my favorite Catania, but finally, I choose a wonderful material - a mixture of Viscose and Elastane, the Czech production, which recommend me one of our famous designer of knitted and crochet fashion Dana Vrbova. Anyway, she made wonderful models. Take a look on her Insta :-)
After a long time, I took my 2,5 mm hook.
And this is the progress of my personal challenge - day 7 :-)
Do you have also some crochet challenge? And did you fulfilled it? What motivates you to try something new or something big or hard? :-) Do you have some schedule? I am not good to keep the challenge, what set for myself, but this one I would really do. This one would be the breakpoint :-)

So, we said the last goodbye to my dad already. People say, that it helps and that from now it will be better. Well, I don't know. My head says something, but my heart, I don't think, that it is listening ...

So true. Well, I am walking with my honey girl in the fairyland and try to be a brave girl.
And as we all know, the crocheting is the best friend in the bad times and the excellent in the good times. And the life of others goes on, and my spring fairy will celebrate her Birthday soon and I would like to fulfill her wishes.
Some bright colors are on my table.
And it was a long way. Those, you are following my Instagram knows, that I was unraveling - all piece. Yes. One little moment of inattention. But no doubt - the patience training!
But I still love it and I love the result. Just a little teaser ... :-)
And what is the best - she loves it! We will make some pictures soon ♥
The idea of writing the blog, in a comfortable chair or bed, with ease like Carrie Bradshaw sounds so great. But as my mom says:
"Dream is a dream, you wake up and it is a day"
(It sounds like the rhyme in my native language)
I admit, it is not very optimistic, but it is so true.
I love to write my blog so much and be in touch with you! ♥ I am always sad when I have no time and energy to write new posts and visit my personal candy shop. Anyway, thanks to my Insta, I can be with you a little bit at least.
The plan looks always so great, but there will come some illnesses that will righteously visit all family members - repeatedly, a cold that will not allow you to pull your hands out of the blanket, the days so short that you think it may not cost to get up, and so much work, that it is impossible to fulfill. Everything around is gray and sad. Fortunately, there are some beauties like titmouse, goldfish and other messengers of the spring, coming and bring some joy. But mostly, I don't have the correct lens on my camera of course, and they will snap before I can make a picture of them. But once, I was quick and they were hungry. So :-)
And then the Titmouse - the boss - came and called them off. Probably to some other yummy ball, cheering someone else. Well, they are so busy at this time, these little beauties.
All that gray and cold don't delay just writing a blog, but also working on news, taking care of the home and own beauty :-), because you can wear nothing other than a jacket so long, to cover the kidneys (I am getting old, I guess :-) ), several layers of clothing, boots that do not slip and a hat. No matter, you look so funny and strange wearing all that stuff. I am really wondering how could someone look so elegant and cool in the winter!?
And there is the reality here - they are Easter, and I have not made any new and
my blog is sad and lonely again. Even my bunny Eda was wondering if I will write a note here :-)
I'm just a summer - sunshine type. I was born in the hot summer day, surrounded by the smell of lime and I think, that something is going to be about it. I am so fragile and broken in the winter. What about you, does the winter suits you?
OK, I just realized, that I have to rewrite THAT list!
Being an optimist seems to be so good when it comes to you, that the overpaying optimistic people are not as happy at the end. Okay, I'll overwrite that list, but this time, the optimism will be on the half of mine expectation. Let's see if it will work :-)

It looks, that in February I really needs the colors :-) Especially this winter is really long and the temperature is still in minus numbers, day or night. I am so so so looking forward to the spring.

When I was thinking about Autumn, that it is already here, even it has a little bit time, looking at the calendar. I was sad, I miss the sun and warmth of the Summer and colors of Spring, yes. Two days later, I was searching some picture and then I realized, that I love Autumn too :-)
My work revealed me that sweet secret ..... Always listening to the heart ♥
So today, I am not sad anymore: "Hello Autumn :-)"
