ssst - don't disturb please, she is sleeping :-)
This is my first design in 2014. OK, I must confess that I skiped some unfinished projects :-) I made this little sleeping owl ornament for my Natalka. As I wrote in some my older post, she likes yellow color and owls. And the result is - yellow owl :-). I like this new owl so much, that I used this design for my new rubber stamp :-)
Well, I made the pink one too, as a gift for friend of mine Josie :-) Josie is an amazing girl. She was born in same day (different year) as my beloved grandmother, of who I have already spoken about in past. And I really feel big understanding between us. I am so thankful for this friendship. Josie is so nice to me and she is testing my patterns - and whatelse to say? She is my hero :-)
I am pretty sure, that you will see this sleeeping owl on my other finished from unfinished projects... :-)
Mad about the owls :-)
and I am pretty sure, that the another one different is almost created
- but ssssst - this is a secret :-)
I wish you nice start to new week :-)
Just only few pictures of my last days... As I said last time, I promised to make some owls as custom orders. Here are first three owls. And now I am working on the revision of some of my free patterns and I designed new ornaments, still something, you know .... but little by little :-)
Please let me show you the pictures, painted by my little girls also..
Our Natalka painted the story. Do you know, what the name of this story is?.... I guess, that yes. Look at the wolf - she has amazing spatial perception. It is really very interesting for me to watching the changes of her style at the time. I really love to watching it.
The picture of princess below she painted when she was 4 years and two months old. Look at all these details - my little painter :-)... Did I told you, that my grandfather was the painter? He had amazing sence for details too. He shown me the beauty of the art, he took me to the galleries, teached me how I should look on the pictures on the walls. But I was only a little girl, and I was fascinated of the places where the galleries were - most of all in some castles, the sound of my voice there - the echo in that spaces. I slid in great slippers on the parquets in the galleries and enjoyed the fun :-) He was very patient with me and now I am remembering that times with gratitude very often.
It is also amazing for me to watching how different our children are. Our second one Nelinka - she has amazing talent for singing. She sings Skyfall melody by Adele so naturally :-) My father is musician and my grandma of who I was told you already was soloist piano player - so I think, that the genes are working good in our family :-). I love to hear Nelinka sing. She likes painting too and she would like to catch up her older sister and yesterday she painted a picture for me - the cat. She is so sweet! :-)
Well, it was a quick hello from our family :-) Have a nice weekend !
As I promised in my last post - I was taken some pictures of my new project - new embellishment for my little girl's jeans.
Are you amazed like your little babies are growing directly in front of your eyes as same as I am? Our sweet Natalka grew up 4 cm (1,6 inches) from spring so it was time to buy new trousers! This time we bought boys' jeans, because they were most comfortable for her - she don't like wearing skinny jeans, what is so cool now. I love watching the way she is thinking about her own clothes. And I promised that I will embellish it same way as I embellished the jeans for my goddaughter in past. Natalka loves owls as same as like her mommy :-) So I decided to embellish her new jeans using crochet appliques on woodland topic. I choosed owl - how else? :-) - then appliques of colorful tree and mushroom. I used my patterns (some of them are waiting for me to be finished), bright colors, but it had to be in harmony with yellow and red stitches on the jeans. She adores yellow color - so the owl is yellow! And another trousers is waiting for me. This time it will be for my goddaughter again and the task is: the cat. Ooooh - how I love my sweet girls - they are so inspirational :-)
I felt a little bit nervous today so I took a hook and made some owls - just for calming down.... :-) These three small owl friends are looking at me and I feel much better now :-) And what about you, helps you the crocheting to calming down too?

In my last contribution I wrote something about new yarn I used named Poly by Vlnika.
I used it in 4 my projects... and I like this yarn so much :)
For first time I used this yarn for the hair of my Dreaming fairies
And for the teedy bear ears, legs and hands..
.. for the hair of my new doll Mia:-)
And I made an owl... I just love this owl!..And I am going to write a pattern..:)
I was creating this owl to one competition on the theme: TV Series zone..... and I was inspirated by Twin Peaks, just because I like this series very much :-)
