Hi my dears,

you know, every crocheter or knitter has own "number one" yarn. Well, I found "my star" long time ago. It is Kacenka by Nitarna Ceska Trebova, Czech production. I love this yarn for it's wonderful colors, 5 stars quality and it is certificated for children stuff under 3 years old. I really like this yarn in my hands - it is so pleasant and soft and did I tell you about these amazing colors? :-) I am pretty sure, that you know some of my creations made by Kacenka e.g. Rainbow purse, cat Lisa, Rainbow dogie, Emma - the owl, Little bear, Funny hens, Sweet Angel, Frankie - reindeer, Mermaid Francesca, White rabbit, the Fox and my original designs of crazy rainbow bag and rainbow tree and many other creations.

When I am designig and writing the patterns, I am always thinking about the yarn, you could work with too. I was still looking for the yarn, I will love and I could reccomend to you and you could buy it worldwide. Because I wanted to be sure, that you will be satisfied. And although I bought and tested many and many yarn and some were really good, Kacenka is still my star. I am tired of looking for something else... so I make a big decission! :-) Today I opened my small yarn shop on Etsy called Colorful Yarn Shop. I have to tell you, that I was thinking about it for years, that one day I could open a yarn shop. And today, it was that day :-) You know, I don't want to be a yarn seller, I am crochet designer, first of all. I love my work. I would not change anything, even if sometimes I am very sad and frustrated, when I see my work stolen and ..., but this is another story. The colorful world I am creating is an inseparable part of my life, my passion, it is me :-)

I am here with a new blog post, as I promised :-) So, I said, something new is on my hook :-) And as always not one thing, but I guess, you know it very well too :-). I promise, that I will write my owl hoodie cardi pattern, so I am working on it very intensively right now and when I need to make a little break I am testing my new bag pattern. I am really curious, how you will like it :-)

I just finished a testing of my new pattern - the Sweet owl.

I used a new stitch and I really like it! I don't know it's name and I don't care :-), but I am  pretty sure, you will see it on my other creations :-)

Needed material:

• 5 ply/ 12 wpi/ fine yarn calls for 3,5 mm hook (US E hook)
• hook 3 (5/0) and 3,5 mm (US E hook)
• tapestry needle
• common sewing thread and needle
• 1 white button average 9 mm
• 2 black buttons average 15 mm
• toy filling
• scissors

I used: 

Mix of cotton and acrylic yarn, Stone washed by Scheepjeswol, weight: Sport/ 5ply (12 wpi), Yardage: 130 m / 142 yds in (50g), Gauge: 24 stitches in 4 inch (10 cm).  You will need about 66 g of yarn totally.

Hi my dears,

some time ago I read some motivational sentence. It was something like: "Keep your head high, your glutes tight and your coffee strong :-) Well, after I read this, I smiled, it definitely belongs to my life ... :-)

So the strong coffee is on my table, I keep my head high and I wish I could claim the same of my glutes ... LOL. Oooh, just a little bit of humor for Thuesday! :-)

Well, I was busy like a bee. I am busier then I am posting on socials, but I'll be better, I promise :-) I made some new coasters. I like them very much. They are easy to make, quite fast, but you know, I always have to add some beads and buttons. If you would like to make one or two too :-), the pattern is ready and tested and it is in my stores already.
