And what a fox said?

By Vendulka - June 26, 2016

... And he went back to the fox:
'Goodbye,' he said.
'Goodbye,' said the fox. 'Now here is my secret, very simply: you can only see things clearly with your heart. What is essential is invisible to the eye.'
'What is essential is invisible to the eye,' repeated the little prince, so as to remember.
'It is the time you have wasted on your rose that makes your rose so important.'
'It is the time I have wasted on my rose...' repeated the little prince, so as to remember.
'People have forgotten this truth,' said the fox. 'But you must not forget. You become responsible, for ever, for what you have tamed. You are responsible for your rose.'
'I am responsible for my rose ...' the little prince repeated, so as to remember.

This book belongs to my favorite. I remember, that I understand it's meaning and depth when I was 24. The time is flying so fast. I still like it very much :-)

Well now, I made my own Little prince and his friend the Fox :-) And I really enjoyed it. So my dears, do you read this book? And what is your favorite?

  5. Oh, they are perfect! And I love the book too. To be honest the part with a fox is my favorite too, because, you know, you become responsible for what you have tamed... :) I hope there will be a pattern to this!

  6. Your Little Prince is wonderful, and so is his fox! Beautifully crocheted and perfectly imagined.

Lately, my favorite book has been "Jane, the Fox, and Me," by Fanny Britt and Isabelle Arsenault. It is beautifully illustrated, and a touching story of peer bullying and surmounting it. I posted about this book on my blog:

If you are interested. Thank you for such a lovely post :-)
